Is there a way to get a bidet attachment on my regular toilet?
Bidets are used to automatically wash the genital area after someone uses the toilet. On a traditional bidet the user is supposed to sit on the bidet facing the tap for cleaning the front genital area, and sit facing away from the tap when cleaning the anus. Soap is then applied manually and then rinsed using the bidets’ water jet from the tap nozzle. With the more up to date devices, you simply sit facing forward and the water jet nozzles in the bidet take care of the rest. Bidets are actually used very commonly around the world. You have probably already seen this fixture next to a regular toilet in many private bathrooms.

Bidets come with features such as seat warming, massaging, remote controls, and air deodorizers. Bidets are eco-friendly. To dry the already clean area, you would use a towel instead of toilet paper, so that creates less polluting waste to the environment. Most use a hands free air drying method. Not to mention, this method of cleaning is much more thorough than using toilet paper and can prevent urinary tract infections, reduces irritation in the genitals and of the hemorrhoids. The elderly may find this an easier way to keep themselves clean, as it becomes increasingly difficult to use the restroom.
You can easily turn your regular toilet into a bidet by installing a hand held device. First turn off the water supply line in your toilet. Unscrew the water fitting from the flusher thread. The screw the T connector to the flushing thread and the water line fitting into the bottom of the T connector. Last, snap in the small clear hose into the push-in tube. You can also install an electric bidet seat. These seats are designed so just about anybody can install one and comes with clear, simple how-to instructions in its manual. These electric bidet seats require no extra plumbing. They are plugged into an electrical outlet. It uses a small side panel that has buttons you would push to start the flushing process. This installation process is easier and less expensive than installing a full on bidet into the bathroom.
Most electric bidet seats cost around $300-$500 in the United States. Prices of an electric bidet seat vary around the world depending on how commonly this device is used. A single hand held device will cost under $100.

In today’s ever increasing, high tech society of plasma TVs and smart phones, one should consider a bidet for the cleanliness of the whole family.
